Mike Webber  (Rose Charities NZ) awarded Meritorious Service Order for outstanding optometry work including that with Rose Charities Cambodia   See RoseCharities NZ 

Rose Charities Sri Lanka awarded CIDA grant  from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) to assist peace building programmes in Sri Lanka . As part of this agreement, Rose Charities Canada  will still have to raise money to match this grant.

Micro-Finance Fund in Sri Lanka
Following on from the initiative of Lawrence Keenan of CSLI Vancouver BC, this scheme continues to grow. Individuals, identified by Rose Charities' Community Support Workers, form groups and apply for small loans with which to begin, or re-start, income-generating activities.

Pedal for the Medal
Traveling from Vancouver Island down the coast to Los Angeles is intrepid cyclist Denis Dronjic. Denis was determined to do something for Rose Charities and has already raised hundreds of dollars for our projects! Now he has completed his epic trip. A huge thank you Denis
